    Why the /s? It’s totally inline with British politics. It’s brilliant for someone for sure

      It’s brilliant for those kissing China’s ass and being enriched by it, but as for national and international security and a workforce in need of more jobs it’s really shit.

            If the UK government trust the US more than China, I would call it a good move for the UK government. And the article did not say anything about the workers, only that the factory was sold to another company. Should be the same people working there, which would be UK citizens (or I guess people with work visa, since you cannot work there otherwise AFAIK).

              Yep - great move for the government. But fair pay and good work conditions is not fomenting us companies are known for.
