The important part
Also, we’re pleased to share that we are currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC to offer even more game variety in addition to the PS VR2 titles available through PS5. We hope to make this support available in 2024, so stay tuned for more updates.
This is great timing because Microsoft is killing support for my Windows Mixed Reality headset. Ironically, Sony will have better PC VR support than Microsoft.
If this rolls out I might actually get one.
The Valve Index looks great but a bit expensive and outdated. The Apple product is too expensive to even think about. I don’t want any sort of Meta hardware on my network.
I haven’t touched any of them in person, but on paper my only complaint of Sony’s was the lack of PC (and PS4 game) support. I’ve seen some news occasionally from the progress of hobbyists getting it to work on PC, but I don’t want to jump through all those hoops even if they do eventually get things working.
