MOSCOW, April 4 (Reuters) - Russia and NATO are now in “direct confrontation”, the Kremlin said as the U.S.-led alliance marked its 75th anniversary on Thursday.

    Putin is confused. If Russia were in direct confrontation with NATO Russian forces would have been obliterated in Ukraine just like they were obliterated in the Battle of Kasham. Silly Putin.

    @lusterko Funny how Putin tries hard to make his war look more heroic than it really is by telling the Russians “look, we’re fighting against all of them at once”. Putin’s obsession with international rank shall not be overlooked.

    How does that work when NATO, by its own charter, can’t/won’t do anytning unless attacked or under threat of imminent attack? To avoid confrontation with NATO is quite simple.
