    Italian here and…yeah, it didn’t make any sense even for me. So i found the source and the artist only wanted to draw something with the same shape of the region, so for example sicily is a slice of pizza because it has the shape of a slice of pizza, no other meaning.

      Maybe someone from Italy can enlighten us who the mascots are. I only recognise Ferrari - Emilia-Romana, Pizza - Sicily, sardines - Sardinia and the seahorse representing the shape of Puglia.

        None but a few and they were not even immediately clear, definitely not what I would have thought of, even as a joke.

      Napoli!

      I’ve only seen fist fights in the street (or train station) when I visited. But it seemed like it was a bit on the violent side. That’s my best guess.
