If this is true, then this guy made up multiple fake advocate personas, so he could then kill them off and make money by setting up fundraisers for them as part of one giant grift. Wild.

This article is a big wtf. It doesn’t have any real hard evidence that these people didn’t exist but also how do you prove that someone doesn’t exist. Wild.

Was nobody calling bullshit on the whole “she dropped a KitchenAid on her foot and needed both legs amputated” thing? That’s a pretty wild claim to make with no explanation

IGN reached out to Gallaudet University’s Deaf Studies program for comment, and they replied stating that nobody by the name of Susan Banks was ever employed at the University.

There are ways to seal your records and you’d be reported as never have attended, but I don’t think it applies to faculty.

In another private text conversation with a different individual viewed by IGN, Craven claimed she died while streaming, and that at least one other person had a clip of her death. But IGN could not find evidence of any streams or video footage containing Banks. One day after her death, Craven acknowledged her passing by mentioning the dozens of notifications Banks’ account was receiving. No obituary was uncovered for a person fitting the description of Susan Banks in Oak Park, Illinois.

I find it difficult to believe that someone dying while streaming makes no news at all lol
