Wow just had a flash back to when I saw them in Hollywood doing a gig and I was the only English person in the crowd so had some good fun interacting with the band and the poor Yanks didn’t get 90% of it ;)
Flashbacks to when I was an awkward 16/17 y/o and only joined the dancers on the floor when a Twin-Tone ska band was played. Madness, The Specials, The Beat, Bad Manners, Selector. And the Untouchables, an LA ska band with a killer live show. And later Fishbone, of course.

You are thinking of the 2Tone record label. although twin tone looks pretty legit in its own right
