I don’t watch it as regularly as Jeopardy! but I am curious who they will pick to host and hopefully there is less drama involved with this one.
If Sony is smart, they’ll put Vanna behind the wheel. After all, there hasn’t really been a need for a letter turner for quite some time. Of course, Vanna is also getting up there in age herself. We might be having this same conversation again in a few years whenever she decides to retire.
She’s hosted a couple times and been OK, but it felt like she wasn’t all that happy doing it. She may be ready to retire as well after 40+ years. Still she may end up there for a bit while they decide. I get the feeling they’re setting up Pat’s daughter to take over for Vanna.
41 seasons is actually mind-boggling, I’ve never been a huge Wheel of Forture person, but I do remember watching it a lot when I was home sick from school as a kid. Doing this sort of gig for this long is honestly pretty impressive.
hopefully there is less drama involved with this one.
