As a Survivors-style game, it’s really trying to do something different. Vampire Survivors was pretty enjoyable but nothing like what’s played at the table.

Seems like they’re using feats and spells as the connecting strand to Pathfinder, kind of like how Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults makes an action RPG hew closer to the table experience by emphasizing teamwork. What do you think?

ehhhh i dunno. I mean, I like vampire survivors, but adding a coat of golarion paint to it doesn’t really do it for me. I look forward to pulling art from the game for monster tokens in my PF games though.

I’m looking forward to trying out it and their take on Abomination Vaults. While I do really like the format of the existing PF games that we have now, I really like the format and direction they’re going with AV and Gallowspire. I think AV makes much more sense as a co-op ARPG, whereas something like Kingmaker would barely pay tribute to the source material if it were done as an ARPG.

I never played Vampire Survivors, so I have no idea how this game will play out, beyond that it’s a roguelite (which I also enjoy).

Thanks for the link; I have played something like this. I think I’m still interested in wasting some time with it, but less excited about this one now. AV looks like it’s more of what I want in video games haha.
