What’s the name of this style? My dad and brother both ride the traditional Harley, and I’ve been wanting to get something and learn to ride as well, and like this style.

The style is called “Cafe Racer” and the backstory is that it came out of 1950’s-1960’s motorcycle subculture in London. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Café_racer?wprov=sfti1

Not sure where you’re located but I’ve had a great experience learning to ride and hack on mine for relatively low cost. I think these Chinese bikes are a great for learning on. Seems like several countries have companies that specialize in importing and branding the bikes from the Chinese manufacturers like Zhongshen and Lifan. Mine’s from Zhongshen imported and branded by CSC Motorcycles in California

I’m located in Michigan. My original goal was to have something by this summer but gor caught in the wave of tech layoffs so had to change priorities. Gonna spend the fall/winter researching and try to get something by Sprint 2024.

        Thanks for the info!
