I just uninstalled it for the first time since I created a Reddit account in 2012, and I’m pretty sure it was the first app I ever paid for. It was always number one in the download list for a new phone. Occasionally I’d fancy a change and try other Reddit apps, but they never lasted more than a few minutes. Give me that clean interface any day. Big thanks to the devs for all the fun over the years.

Same with me for reddit is fun. Been using the app for so long I just can’t bring myself to remove it yet. I for sure will not be installing the official app.

I deleted Apollo and my Reddit journey is over, 11 years after it began. I honestly thought it would be more difficult. I think I more miss the Reddit that Baconreader was named for: the silly young Reddit full of advice animals and comments like “it’s shit like this” and ice soap and 3AM chili. That Reddit has been dead and buried for years but I soldiered on until they finally said I don’t matter with their attempts to monetize user content and eliminate third-party apps.

Just uninstalled and left a 5 star review on play store. Funnily, it’s currently the #1 paid app in social rankings, at least from the UK.

If you’re lurking here BR Dev - still love you 💔

Yea I get that. I had a 14 year old account. It really did change and was not the site I loved in the beginning. It was getting really toxic the last few years.

I just went to remove it and found that it’s still working. I hope the developer isn’t going to have to eat fees for this.
