is their incompetent mobile developer “remastering” this for cheap too?
Are you referring to Grove Street Games? The incompetent mobile developer that crapped out the original trilogy remaster, that is still in an absolutely horrid state?
@GamerKick definitely starting to feel old the more often games on my “to do list” get remastered before I get to them.
As long as there is a PC version, I am happy.
In all honesty, RDR1 on the Series X (backwards compat) looks beautiful and plays very well.
FYI - The game runs perfectly on the ps3 emulator.
And just as well, if not better, on the Xenia Xbox 360 emulator.
Whoops looking further into it, the emular was Xenia that I played it on.
You’re right, though, RPCS3 is also excellent and runs it well.
Last week when it crossed the Korean Ratings Board really gave me a renewed hope. I don’t expect Rockstart learned anything from the terrible GTA Trilogy remaster, but considering PC has never had the original RDR properly available, I would take it in any form they’ve giving, so long as it’s available on Steam (which I’ll gladly keep waiting for).
A next gen patch console patch for rdr2 as well would probably be hoping for too much but I like to dream
