Community seems dead but maybe it’ll get back to live with the current Reddit drama, so in good hope!
I’ve been into Kpop since 2nd gen, and so far 4th gen hasn’t been my fav era. But, that doesn’t mean there is no good music! There have been some absolute bangers too, so wondering what are some of your fav releases this year so far?
For me it’s between:
- Le Sserafim - Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife
- Ive - Blue Blood
- KARD - Cake
I started listening to kpop about a year ago so everything seems rather new to me still. I’m not sure about the best songs, but I’ve been enjoying the Jimin’s and Suga’s new songs. Also can’t ignore the bops that NewJeans released (Ditto and OMG)
Seconding Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife.
I also really liked IVE’s Japanese Release WAVE.
Wait, did I somehow sleep on a second Japanese release 😱? Those are my favourite! Damn, gotta get that one in my collection…
I’m also migrating from Reddit myself looking to see if there will be another K-pop community here to grow with, so thought I’d contribute!
I’ve been listening to K-pop since third generation began and stopped right when fourth gen groups started to crop up.
My knowledge of releases so far is very limited but I’ve enjoyed Unforgiven by Le Sserafim’s, Cupid by Fifty Fifty (both original & Twin ver.), Rover by Kai, and Haegeum by Agust D.
