Sounds like the Touhou community should get a based matrix server instead. On an instance like uddu.chat or cutefunny.art
matrix is cringe. I have a rocketchat server, but I’m thinking of setting up a revolt chat instead. Just need help setting up a proxy server since the rocket chat is currently suffering on a 20Gb linode. I got a cute little NUC to put it on.
Revolt is very not loli friendly, or speech friendly in general, really. However, I understand not everyone is a fan of matrix.
Obviously, I disagree and think Matrix is pretty cool, but I’m not here to try to convince anyone to use one thing over another. In the end, I think people should use whatever best suits them. Especially since it makes no difference to me what other people choose to use.
Ah! Self host Revolt! The App won’t work with it, but you can make a web app for it in a similar way you do one for burggit.
Oh, if you’re self-hosting it, that’s different. I think it’s perfectly suitable for that purpose.
