    FYI - imgur has banned NSFW images, you can upload images directly on lemmy, catbox and redgifs are pretty common too

      Thanks, I’m not even hosting these on imgur it just seems to be doing it automatically, any idea how to post pics directly? It could be the app I’m using that’s the problem

      One called “Memmy” just getting to grips with it today so not sure if it’s any good!

        Memmy has sort of been the “best” Lemmy app (in terms of features and popularity) but the devs stopped releasing updates and the last update was about two months ago. However, there has been activity recently on their GitHub page so hopefully we’ll see another update soon.

        I was hardcore on Memmy but switched to Avelon and have been super happy with it. I will def be checking out Memmy again if an update comes out soon though.

      Jerboa is the one that is from the Lemmy devs, but it’s not great. At least not the last time I checked it.

        You’re right that Jerboa is designed by the Lemmy devs but it’s by no means the official app. I’ve used it for a few months and it’s got some issues but they’ve definitely made some large improvements in reliability over the past 2-3 months. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s feature rich, but it gets the job done.
