It was fired too close, there’s a minimum arming distance, to stop the user blowing themselves up, they should know this if they’ve had 2 minutes of training with the weapon or played any recent FPS
I think I remember the guy also yelling at the tank after he flaccidly shoots it, giving away his position. Real big brain hours
