title, hello so i want something new games that require my attention but i can also lsiten to soemthing else while playing. Examples that meet this criteria are games such as Warframe, gacha games though if you can handle visual novel story but it doesnt matter lol , vampire survivor games , Minecraft, etc. Games with menial tasks that i can complete while i listen to other media. I’ve tried path of exile but i wasn’t able to figure out the later game content as much as I enjoyed it. any game where the main draw is going to be the story or even the dialogue won’t work unless it has some kind of mode or content where i can just grind or something. Recenlry snowbreak containement zone its like third person shooter gacha game but theres no loot system thougg i can still go through it while getting strong weapons later when i get currancy. Laid back camp all in one is literally slice of life gacha game and no combat and you just like build camps and just liek a semi idle where you just dont have to do anything just like enjoy the slice of life. I’m mainly PC but I also have a PS5, ps4,switch

Dude I was literally just thinking about making a post like this today. I was listening to music and firing up Cyberpunk 2077 and as I turned off the music was like, “damn I really wanna listen but I can’t do that and play this game at the same time. I wonder what the best games to do that are…”

Personally, Oxygen Not Included, City Skylines, and Cult of the Lamb are a few I’ve been playing recently where I could keep my music playing without it being intrusive or out of place feeling. Staying tuned for what others say for sure!

Oddly enough, Mass Effect 2. I say that because there’s so much planet scanning for resources. I actually used to put podcasts on when I did planet scanning to pass the time. The game and story are excellent, but planet scanning is tedious and takes forever but is necessary.

Base building games sound like they could work for you, Terraria, Frostpunk, Don’t Starve. If you want something even chiller, you could go for games like Stardew Valley or My Time at Portia.
