I think Voter ID is a mistake but didn’t they actually find that it was causing more issues for the older members of our population during the council elections in '22? And older people tend to vote blue in a pretty significant way.

Again, Voter ID is a solution to a problem that didn’t exist, but I’m not convinced it’s as clear cut as it might seem at first glance.
