3·4 days agoI actually just tried to see if it opens, since it has a line in the neck as well, but it does not. So either it was made to mimic these from the past, or someone glued it shut

7·5 days agoThis really threw me for a loop. At first I thought it was my vintage owl. Mine however is not brass (I think)

1·5 days agoWith all the IP Paramount owns, them doubling down on Star Trek is really odd. I think they have more concurrent shows right now than Star Wars. Hell I think Star Wars is down to just Ahsoka now, and a like one cartoon.
Edit: Went back to check and was unaware of the cancelled/concluded ones.

Nintendo@lemmy.world•Joy-Con 2 Light Purple (L) / Light Green (R), available 02/12English
1·6 days agoMy only reasoning for this is they may be worried about kids accidentally grabbing switch 1 joy cons and trying to use shove them in with the new switch. ( I know my niece just keeps all her stuff thrown in a box) Also to maybe avoid parents buying the wrong things for their kids.
They likely want to give an easy clear visual distinction between a switch joycon and a switch 2 joycon, until more people move over to the switch 2.

Television@piefed.social•Rhea Seehorn Wins Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Drama "Pluribus"
2·6 days agoIt’s in line with his writing style. You had Walt and then Saul, neither of which were good people. You could argue by the end of BCS, that Jimmy finally found his heart. VG likes to play with complex humans and he’s good at it.

Ah the Terracotta army was used in one of The Mummy movies.

Kevin Rose also left Digg at some point, not sure how much of that demise is on him. He had to buy it back for this second run.
