Sorry, I worded it poorly. I mostly agree with what you said. But I’m not talking about inheriting a billion dollars. To “earn” a billion dollars, you don’t just exploit a few people, you create an entire system designed to exploit as many people as possible. And you have to ignore the inequality and harm you’re causing the entire time you’re building that giant fortune. It’s a bit of a “chicken and egg” situation, but I imagine many times the disorder is already at least partially there…

“Billionaire” is already a mental illness. You have to exploit so many people to reach that status. Then you have to look at solvable problems like suffering, inequality, starvation, child mortality, diseases, etc and choose to let it happen so your meaningless “high score” goes up.

Not what you asked, but I refuse to accept “you might HAVE to kill yourself” as an inevitable outcome. It’s not. Many people have ADHD, autism, and/or other disabilities. All are treatable.

Also, being unemployed is a specific problem. One that’s surmountable. I’m not going to tell you that any of these challenges are guaranteed to be easy to overcome, but it’s doable and others have and continue to manage them.
