Haha! I’m glad that you had a good time with this. :D

Another fun movie from Uganda’s greatest action director, Nabwana IGG (of Who Killed Captain Alex? fame).
🍅 One of the more entertaining B-movies out there. Better than the original as far as I’m concerned. 🍅
Surely you meant to write questionable instead of excellent? 😉
In all seriousness: thanks! I appreciate it!
LaurenceWolseto B Movie Bonanza@lemmy.world•Dracula, Prisoner of Frankenstein (1972) - Mastodon watch party this Sunday evening!English3·6 天前This is one of only a handful of Jess Franco movies (in a filmography of almost 200 productions) that doesn’t contain any nudity…
The whole thing doesn’t make a lotta sense, but it’s still a good time (to make fun of).
LaurenceWolseOPto B Movie Bonanza@lemmy.world•The Butterfly Revolution (aka Summer Camp Nightmare) (1987)English3·7 天前Yep! The first one is the definitive document of the OG SoCal punk scene as far as I am concerned.
LaurenceWolseOPto B Movie Bonanza@lemmy.world•The Butterfly Revolution (aka Summer Camp Nightmare) (1987)English6·9 天前This is much darker than you might expect from a PG-13 summer camp movie. The Butterfly Revolution was co-written by Penelope Spheeris, who would later go on to direct Wayne’s World.
LaurenceWolseto B Movie Bonanza@lemmy.world•Book - "Cinema Bizarro: The Weird Kid’s Guide to Particularly Odd Horror and Sci-Fi Movies"English3·11 天前Whoa! This covers some great movies. Well, maybe not great, but definitely great fun. 🍿
Direct-to-video dino schlock that’ll entertain, as long as you have a high tolerance for juvenile shenanigans.
A bonkers Shaw Brothers biker flick that delivers on its tagline.
A cheap WWII-sciencefictioner made by the prince of schlock, Charles Band.
LaurenceWolseto B Movie Bonanza@lemmy.world•Forbidden Planet (1956) - Mastodon watch party this Sunday evening!English6·20 天前One of the most influential science fiction (B-)movies of all time. 🪐🛸🤖
Superimposed rats, crappy CGI, and a lot of miniature model work: Rat Scratch Fever is a schlocky B-movie of brain-melting proportions.
You can watch it on Tubi.
LaurenceWolseOPto B Movie Bonanza@lemmy.world•Let Sleeping Corpses Lie (aka The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue) (1974)English3·24 天前I’m sorry to hear the blood gave you a bad jolt, that wasn’t my intention. That being said, I won’t mark this post as NSFW, as I believe that it could set a dangerous precedent: I fear that the Tipper Gore-types of Lemmy will push for the concealment/removal of more content in this community. I will promise you, however, that I will show more restraint when it comes to posting content that could be considered disturbing. I hope you understand my reasoning. Again, my apologies.
LaurenceWolseOPto B Movie Bonanza@lemmy.world•Let Sleeping Corpses Lie (aka The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue) (1974)English3·24 天前It has a bit of a slow build up, but the movie does eventually settle in awesome bloodspiller territory.
A raunchy puppet-musical directed by a New Zealand fellow named Peter Jackson. Does anyone perhaps know whatever happened to this guy? He seemed to have faded into complete obscurity after making a couple of fun movies in the '90s…
The movie that Marvel doesn’t want you to know about. Your parents don’t want you to know about it either, on behalf it being way too raunchy for you. But you know what? You’re an adult; you decide what you watch…
It has some dull stretches, but Dinosaurus! is not without charm.

If you love Juan Piquer Simón’s Pieces, then you will probably dig his Slugs as well…
Go watch it this Sunday!
Which is also a fun one
