  • Partially true, but they also use that astronomical conviction rate to take more pleas than normal. If you’re going up against a 98 percent conviction rate, does it make sense (even if you’re innocent) to take on that 2 percent chance? If you never make it to trial and just plea, you don’t contribute to the conviction percentage. They use this to convince most people getting federal charges to take a plea deal.

Not defending Adams, wanna make that clear. I just see people mention the 98 percent conviction rate when it isn’t an accurate depiction of the situation. This is carefully picked information to make people feel okay forgoing a trial they have a right to

  • In my experience, I’ve always faced burnout when in overly stressful situations. Living with my ex was a nightmare that caused me to crash out quite hard after working 2 full time kitchen jobs at the same time.

I do find that I lose interest in things over time, and change up my main “thing” every few months naturally, and sometimes there’s a gap between finding those new things, and that can be difficult. It was Gen 3 OU for a few years, now it’s Mario Kart.

  • Yeah, this is a pretty standard combo, I live in an area where psychs don’t really like prescribing anything harder than tylenol without you already being prescribed an SSRI. I find that (the correct) SSRIs help a lot with stimulant side effects, so that may help there. I wouldn’t suggest alternating the two for seasons, the SSRI will help with energy but doesn’t do much for ADHD, just depression energy.

Personally really love my SSRI, Zoloft. Things were really dark before I got on it. Finding the right SSRI took a little bit though, and the ones that didn’t work sucked ass. But it’s part of the journey, it’s not your doctor being a schmuck
