Someone for whom I care deeply periodically veers off toward this, but they live and work amongst “oops, all Nazis.” I just keep reminding them there’s a difference between Israeli, Jew, and Zionist, but there can be overlap. They return to sanity after the reminder, but hearing it at work and home all waking hours certainly takes a definitive toll. I just remind myself why I love them, what they live and work with, and bring them back to their center. Librewolf has been a godsend for me. I never click recommendations, I use the search function. Some of my favorite creators got deplatformed, and sometimes I have to wait for a ublock patch, but overall I have been extremely pleased with the experience.

It’s the puritan work ethic, imo. It’s only because of finally having my child reared and settled, being blissfully single, volcel and underemployed/marginalized for a few years that gave me enough time to scratch past the surface sufficiently to have the evidence percolate a smidge deeper and be able to return to subject matter as often as needed.
