Can’t sue a government entity for damages in commission of their duty, IIRC, even if the entire stop is erroneous. Since ICE basically has carte blanche, I can’t see an insurance lawyer that would bother to try. It’s why you don’t see people successfully going after cops for raiding the wrong home - it doesn’t hold up legally in most states.
