Speaking of, does anyone know a good horror alien abduction related movie? I’ve only seen one movie able to recreate the horror of the of this kind of thing, and it’s The Fourth Kind.

Fire in the Sky had one good, scary scene and that’s it. I wasn’t super impressed by it, despite it usually being recommended as the scary alien abduction movie.

Galavant is a fun, dumb medieval fantasy musical comedy series that was on Netflix 2015-2016ish. It only bhaa two seasons, but it’s extremely fun for how few people know about it and it’s a short watch.

I’m glad to here Krakoa was a good stuff. I have heard the name Hickman before, so that tells me he must be a good comic book writer if the name has floated to a casual like me. What made the Krakoa stories so good? Was it cool Game of Thrones style political maneuvering between them and other world governments? Was it awesome action scenes of the mutants demonstrating their might to the world? Heart-wrenching X-men-style personal stories?

I also heard he wasn’t great in Altered Carbon, but I’ve never watched that one. I thought he did well enough in Falcon and the Winter Soldier and the major problems in that movie *TV show were the hastily written lib ending and the classic liberal “swerve” on the mostly sympathetic victim, with the most cliched “kick the dog” moment ever.

They did Anthony Mackie really dirty. Twisted Metal proved to me he could carry as a lead in an action-comedy franchise, which is what the MCU basically is. They just gave him the worst script ever in his Captain America theatrical debut of New World Order.
