Clover lawns are pretty.

Seems kinda unpopular based on just the sheer amount of pristine lawn grass there is. But is also so incredibly low stakes it’s boring

The house in renting right now has a keyless (moreso key optional) entry, and I bought a car last year that is also ‘keyless’. I will never go back. It’s so nice.

The buttons in my town make the lights last longer so you can cross safely in a decent amount of time instead of having to run.

If I’m not mistaken, class 3 also has a throttle vs just pedal assist. I think the throttle is great personally. Sometimes it’s hard to get started to cross an intersection or something, and the throttle is a huge help. Feels like this kinda kills some stuff for old + disabled.

I wfh and I’ve got some ground turkey that really needs cooking. So I’m thinking I’ll quick pickle a red onion and make a shawarma or something similar.

But an addition: humans aren’t meant to handle the mental crush of globalization, IMO. It’s nice to know what’s going on so one can be actionable, but it also takes a severe toll after a while. I didn’t come here for any echo chamber, and I love how down to earth lemmy feels, but I also don’t visit any politics or world news subs.

I help where I can locally and I do my best to make other people smile because we’re all on edge, but I’m not able to to stay mentally well enough to do so without shrinking down the world around me and becoming ignorant of the greater picture.
