You’re proudly proclaiming that you know little about the subject? Yet you still felt like joining in, because…?
Not to mention the fact that you’re essentially asking that people chew up this complex topic and regurgitate a dumbed down version… because you’re a yank and being uneducated is part of your “culture”?
You can read, and you have a mind, it’s up to you to put those two things together to inform yourself and form opinions.
908 dollars???
The two best strategies that have worked for me in the past are oil refining or manufacturing cars.
But it seems the new update has locked most of the stuff you can build behind university research, so they aren’t viable anymore.
It’s really hard to get into, there’s definitely a huge learning curve. Updates can easily change major parts of the game, and you’ll need to re-learn all that.
It’s also really easy to mess up and ruin a save (provided you’re playing with harder difficulties), but I think it’s a really fun game.
Dotworld really does seem to be becoming just like reddit
They even have old.lemmy.world, which looks EXACTLY like old Reddit. They want to be Reddit so bad 💀
This has been the case on YouTube for quite some time
You rename socialism to “Goodism” and then the bourgeois press presents “Goodism” as evil, and then you rename it, and then–
Most domestic bond ownership is within the hands of the bourgeoisie, though.
I’m not saying “no country should ever take on any debt.” I’m saying the US debt is excessive, and the money is being wasted on furthering the aims of the bourgeoisie, primarily through funneling that money into continuously arming the military and the police.
Surely this money could at least be used to increase funding for necessary services like education and healthcare, but it’s not.
And “inefficient” is a mild way to put it, especially when looking at the DoD
Even calling it “statistical data about the US debt” is overselling it since it’s literally just a screenshot and a link to a paper that (presumably?) the screenshot came from.
This is a statistics website of the US treasury
The vast majority of bonds aren’t owned by the average US citizen, though.
Not to mention what the US budget is primarily diverted towards.
You’re saying it as though tremendous amounts of debt have the possibility of being interpreted as a positive thing
I don’t much like this Tisdall guy. Occasionally I look over The Guardian, and whenever I see one of his opinion pieces, it’s always something along the lines of “why not enforcing Anglo imperialist aims is bad!”
And the sad part is that he genuinely seems to believe that continued Anglo dominance is somehow a positive thing for the world
It is called “Divercity,” and yet it is not a city of divers. Curious. 🤨
This map just sucks, incredibly biased towards Western “libertarian” sensibilities
