As with most AI/LLMs it’s about how much error you can tolerate.
Translating basic info, sure the user can infer any slight mess ups. Translating jokes, idoms, tone, cultural differences, etc. is hard assuming you even got the original text right.

50-50 is pretty good odds when a majority of the cases are absolute garbage.
Yeah, I was upset they didnt continue John Carter, it was just a fun zany scifi movie. I think it was the advertising that killed it, but if they had stuck with it I think it could have done well.
Yeah, especially since they are revoking visas and going after naturalized citizens. It’s like they ran out of people to attack on day one.
Pretty sure it’s AI given the placement of objects and characters looking in random directions.
Its a shame cause it could be a decent comic if the creator took more time to either fix it up or fix the layout.
I don’t think Battle Royale is a horror. It always felt more like an action/thriller to me.
I mean, the biggest offense is how they’re sitting, it looks sooo uncomfortable. They should be slouched in a chair or lying down in the bed.
As someone else put it on this post, it’s a bit of a “thirst trap”.
If that’s your kind of game, Unfinished Swan is another thats more plot based, but still has some fun puzzles. Doesn’t get mentioned as frequently so usually one people haven’t seen/played before.
It’s like the media goes out of its way to botch headlines and stories.
Oh god, I forgot about that plot point. Yeah, hopefully they sort that out quickly. That writing in anime is too cringy for me.
Antichamber is another that feels similar. Although Antichamber doesn’t really have a plot.
The other side of the coin is that government workers are actually cheaper than contractors. So smaller government workforce means we pay more for the same government services, and we loose a large employer with more strict standards for employment.
A loose-loose for the general public!
Yeah, I finished the game wishing it would be a higher recommendation, but it just falls short on a lot of things. I don’t mind the price I paid for it, but it’s a hard sell even at $29.99 (summer sale price).
The top things to me were setting, animation (feels like clay/stop motion in a cool way), and setting. But the fighting is only okay (never really evolves beyond button smashing and dodging), the story doesn’t really build on itself, and the platforming is generic and linear.
It also doesn’t help this is an Xbox studios game, since it seems like a bit more time/money would have gone far for this game.
I’m ashamed to admit I watched this due to how ridiculous it sounded. In the end it was actually one of the better isekai I watched. In the first season they really never drift from the core concept that the main character is a vending machine and can only do vending machine related things.
It did feel like it should have reached a natural conclusion in season 1, but I could see a second season being okay if it’s used to wrap up the story (don’t know enough about the original to know how long it is).
I just finished South of Midnight , it’s a mediocre action game with a decent story, but pretty good music specifically written for the game. It kinda feels like Alice Madness Returns meets Disney’s Princess and the Frog (without the frog changing).
Just started up on Dredge and having some fun with it so far.
The castlevania series on Netflix (maybe not necessarily anime).
Those two have heavy Christian references. However a lot of fantasy based anime have a lot of pseudo references to Christianity. Either in the form of clergy (Feiren)/cross based weaponry (Quincy in bleach)/or angels vs demons context (that kinds side steps specific religious affiliation, but heavy Christian elements).
Yeah, I think it’s actually envy with a side of pragmatism (he envies that everyone likes superman and wants that power, but also legitimately fears what a bad superman could do). But Xenophobic is just a funny way to phrase it.
I mean, it seems likely something is being covered up. In court it was alluded to that Maxwell wasn’t just trafficking for Epstein. If that’s the case, there were other clients and that info hasn’t been released.
Haha, sorry, the media/democratic part didn’t seem to hammer that point home. Somehow we still hear about Biden’s decline from time to time, but the acting president can’t remember names or answer questions and it barely makes it into the news.
Thanks for adding this, most people don’t understand that flat taxes hurt poor people more.
Also, essentials for survival really shouldnt be taxed at all in my opinion.
