Ublock Origin still works on Edge, with an expected expiration date around December (but we’ve been scare mongered about this many times already). Brave is about as scandalous of a browser you could use, and Firefox isn’t much better.

Edge also has native ad-blocking, tracker protection, etc. I don’t think most users are going to care too much about having to switch to Ublock lite or native blocking. If it doesn’t block reddit ads; I’ll use Firefox.

That ‘long lasting’ lightbulb still works because it barely puts out any light. It’s practically useless outside of “documentaries”. ‘few people’ -For tech there’s many, but because Lemmy is OS; they’re mostly Linux advocates. For politics / religion: I go to Gab.com.

Image uploading can be fickle here. Sometimes the upload box doesn’t go away on its own (but still worked). One nice thing about Lemmy over Reddit is that you can easily switch the image from being the ‘image’ post or an embedded image (move the url of the image to the url box near the bottom to make it the image post). You can also add images or change to image post after posting. -Some good trade-offs here.
