  • im gonna say how i personally deal with this but i dont want you to take it to heart or be offended by it. honestly for me the death/loss itself is not the scary part. i have a hopeful view of afterlife, know that ruminating about their last moments or pain is not beneficial and they would want me to be happy. i move on rather quickly. whats scary is how that death changes your life and what it leaves u vulnerable to. if my mom dies i would have to take on so much responsibility and that would be much harder than accepting she died.

its important to realize that EVERYTHING is grief. even you writing this post is grief. you not knowing how to grief, is grief. as for practical advice, when my pet died i looked at photos, i told as many people as i could, made a memorial post on my socials. you grieve with others at the funeral (crying together), talking about your loved one (even a happy conversation), helping each other handle the new affairs/responsibilites you now have if thats the case.

    1. in the modern age and in the global north most deaths related to animals are the humans fault. one of the easiest things you can do is avoid bears, tigers and other predators. there is no need to kill these animals anymore and we can let them be because why cause death and destruction when its not needed?

    2. cultural genocide: ive had this aching feeling you were white for a long time (no offense). why should we maintain tigers? the tiger is so important to asian culture and asian people that if you remove the tiger so much culture and pride is gone. for people of color in particular the big cats are so significant as cultural symbols of our power to the point where THE symbol for black-asian solidarity is a black panther and tiger together. in Shia Islam Imam Ali is associated with a lion.

  • honestly the only thing going for it is that u can still get banned from there quite easily (like i was). you SHOULD be able to get totally ip banned very easily from social media because it shows that the website is moderated and you can also be forced off and get a life. in 2023 i was banned from twitter and made a vow to avoid tiktok and instagram and it was the best time in my life in terms of screentime. now i would love to get banned from instagram but thats impossible. it’s a real addiction and i want off.
