Of course. It all makes perfect sense.

You know, this really has me pondering my projects architecture. We have tiers of services.

At the top, we have the UI. Then we have a “consumer” an “orchestra” and a “data” tier.

Data is the tier that exclusively talks to databases. Orchestra talks to the multiple data services. A good chunk of business logic is here. Consumer uses the orchestra and handles UI requests.

All it essentially does is split the monolith into 3 services at minimum. And since it’s on the cloud, there’s a start up cost where we need to spin up 3 machines instead of whatever you can do with microservices. What benefit do I get?

Are you proposing the government drones that we haven’t been seeing are spreading weaponized drone flu, or that they have a slowed production until the spring because they are planning something much bigger?

It’s a shame. How many really cool people are we going to lose because in desperation they turned towards a chatbot who they believed was intelligent.

Hell. How many peers, potential partners, or family will we lose?

Oh. I guess I kind of looked at it from my anxious viewpoint rather than any other.

Welcome to Attachment Theory 101. It should be required learning for everyone. Remember, just because it’s divided up doesn’t mean people are exclusively this.

3 attachment styles.

1. Secure (about half of people).

2. Avoidant (about 1/4)

3. Anxious (about 1/4)

4. Disorganized (very small)

Get to a couples counselor based on the importance of the relationship before this becomes a bigger problem is the real advice.

Because at best it sounds like anxious, at worst it’s disorganized. Only avoidant is next to impossible to work with. Good luck
