Personally for me, I’ve always been a fan of bspwm
I’ve been using hyprland as of recent to try it out. But I think I’ll be trying something else soon. But I do want to stick with wayland.

I used to default to whitebox or Blackbox, many years ago. I then passed through KDE, Gnome and Gnome3, but I’ve settled on XFCE for a long time now.
