    A lot of those points seem like things left leaning politicians are trying to push for, so the fact that many countries are now voting right wing parties to power makes me a bit worried for EU’s future. (Recent examples are Italy, Sweden, Finland and many more coming according to polls).

      Yeah Finland just started with a right-wing cabinet which has turned out to be a mess in the first two weeks.

      We probably won’t have to watch the disastrous policies for the whole four year term but there isn’t much options in the voting game. Leftish (reformist, not even anticapitalists) has an 8% voter base.

      The pendulum will swing to a centrist cabinet next time which usually do nothing.
