I never tried the official server. I remember playing on a 3rd party shard named Elysium. It was pretty cool, as it was set up with races, somebof which were perpetually at war, so depending on your race, one other race could freely attack you.
Yeah I don’t play live because I’m broke and the restriction of not being able to own a home on a free account is a deal breaker. Plus UOAlive seems to have more of an active playerbase anyway.
Seeing the UO interface brings back so many memories from 25 years ago.
