It has always been this way. Right now, I want to update a few Guix packages, but I have no clue on how to do the same. Where’s the issues supposed to be created? What about creating new commit? Who is the maintainer I’m supposed to be speaking with?

      I have sent a bunch of patches series to Guix after this, and I am used to the workings. But honestly speaking, it is still a pain to work with, unfortunately. If I amend a commit, I am also forced to manually remove the ChangeId. It can’t be used with other platforms because git hook kicks in, and so I am forced to use a --no-verify flag to bypass it. I also have to track revision number manually.

    Are you looking for this? Most GNU projects are hosted on Savannah. Yes, it is very ancient and inconvenient.

      That webpage is pretty terrible. Why isn’t Forgejo or GitLab being used? Is there anything wrong with it? I also like how I am not forced to share my personal email in those webapps.

    Updating Guix packages is super simple (as described in the manual). Check out the sources, create a patch, email said patch and wait.

    For other (GNU) projects this may be a lot harder
