Welcome to the 24 hour pledge! I’m pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.
Maybe you’re new to c/stopdrinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.
It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol!
Day 13. A fresh Monday morning to stay sober. Starting to realize I haven’t faced a whole lot of big challenges, yet. But also starting to realize that my drinking caused a whole lot of big challenges to my sobriety… Kind of a self supporting system, there. Anyways, I’m not drinking with y’all today!
Has your sleep improved?
For that most part, yes. I had one really good night’s sleep, nearly seven consecutive hours! Last night was a bit sketchy, but far better than it was for the first week or so. I was so tired that week and my body just wouldn’t let me rest. It’s so much better now. Thanks for asking.
