c) Majority of active discussion is on the other instance
d) Dessalines doesn’t understand the anime genre and it’s quirks
e) Power users don’t feel welcome on lemmy.ml
f) There would be less of community fragmentation and less workload for you

People aren’t linking it directly because admins have a history of removing any comments/posts that provide a link. However, you can see it if you go to a community browser like Lemmy Explorer.
I understand. Never heard of Lemmy explorer, will have to go down the rabbit hole!

I don’t think its a good idea to close it. This is still a decently active community, and hopefully someone will step up to help moderate it, while removing all the lolicon the other server is happy to host.
your own admin told me that if its on youtube then its okay, why are you removing things posted from youtube if it should be “okay”? why are you contradicting each other?
i dont think you realize how much “”“lolicon”“” there is in this community that you are completely unaware of just because there’s no picture. have you seen nagataro-san (this post)? do you even know what the series is about?
It seems active on the surface, but as you added recently votes that count towards activity, the majority of activity is just that. Empty votes. The number of comments per week is at least a magnitude greater on The Other instance than on this one.
No, No one will. No one wants to guess what you will judge as “lolicon” and walk on eggshells and be outed like previous mod.
This community will give you headaches again and again, and we both don’t want that. I want for you to focus on important work and not chase stupid Japanese cartoons that depict children.
This community served it’s purpose before reddit exodus and now it should be killed as times have changed.
It seems that more care is needed with the reports here, another post was taken down some days ago about SAO gun gale II (another PG13 anime).
