also the government regulates all job postings to not be (as) malignant and evil. you just upload your resume and go thru the available options and you pick one and then you go work there and if you fuck around they can kick your ass or something (but social etiquette dictates you should behave in good faith (because they all know how much the old way sucked))
This is what is happening in real life. You work minimum wage in a shop, get promoted to manager and get almost no increase in pay. You’re supposed to be happy about getting the ‘promotion’. so soon we’ll all be on the same minimum wage!
I’ve had so many jobs want to train me into a manager and when I ask about the pay it’s like $1 more pay for 10 times more responsibility. lol get fucked.
