In AotC he was a horny teenager, with deep insecurities, an inability to accept fault, and overflowing with the force.
It could have been an accident, but I don’t think it was. AoTC anakin was already expressing might-makes-right idealogy … which is directly counter to Parme’s democratic beliefs.

It’s important to remember, anakin was 5 years younger. 30’s not so big a deal. 19? She was 24, already progressing into an established career.
Also watch the reunion seen in AoTC; she was happy to see him, but not in the way he was happy to see her. (She seemed more inclined to Obi, actually. Can’t blame her. Obi was literally the perfect Jedi.)
