    kids these days have no respect for the greats of the genre sankara-shining

    just kidding I’m not gonna gatekeep Sankara lmao, he’s an African revolutionary from Burkina Faso who did phenomenal things for his country, was universally loved by the people, and then got assassinated by a counterrevolutionary coup orchestrated by the French.
