I am annoyed by the usage of “Czar” for no apparent reason other than to create negative connotations. These same people would call the likes of Truss or Harris “queen” and see no issue. But a foreign politician? A foreign politician who doesn’t now to Wall Street to boot? Quick, grab some term that would make hin sound spooky and dictatorial!
Czar is a weird one because sometimes it’s used as a positive term. Like for all the old-friend-from-college Presidential advisor positions each US administration comes up with.
