But why bother? After abandoning the console players, this game should be dead to everyone.
When you price out the components of a console and realize what a crappy PC it is, it’s a freeing experience.

Getting a Steam Deck made me play Elite Dangerous almost daily
Hey, I know that this is an old post, but just started playing on Deck.
Do you have issues with stutters and speed ups? I sometimes have the game sped up like 150%, and sometimes stutters when it freezes for half a second a then unfreezes but already moved ahead
Why should it be dead?
So because Frontier was unable to afford to continue to support it on consoles, you think EVERYONE should lose access? I sympathise that it really sucks for console players but it’s better than nothing at all for everyone.
