Why did you upload the video to catbox.moe?
Videos uploaded to catbox can be viewed on kbin, lemmy and liftoff. Unlike Imgur or YouTube which require you to visit their websites to watch the video.
It’s just that catbox.moe is community-funded. Uploading a video that was already uploaded to YouTube, where it has different quality options, subs etc., to catbox.moe seems like a waste
I understand, but what’s the alternative? Lemmy does not support embedded YouTube player, nor can I upload videos to a Lemmy instance.
You can upload the video to a temporary storage or simply leave the link to YouTube. It’s not that big of a deal, IMO
