it’s very common for landlords to “renovate” by doing a crappy paint job then raise the rentDo they just paint the property and increase rent because of that? Isn’t that just maintenance they should be doing anyway?

there are a good amount that don’t do any maintenance, and if they do it’ll be shitty and they will hike the rent
