Look see the Good Cop is way better than the Bad Cop!

Shhhh stop that, stop thinking about the fact that they are both still cops working towards the same shitty goals. The Good Cop is the good guy, remember that.

They are not working towards the same goals though. This article demonstrates a clear difference.

            What counts as participating?

Pretending like the economy is doing ok and that the Democratic Party in the US genuinely represents an opposing force to the class war being waged by the rich?

there are major differences between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party when it comes to supporting labor, taxing the wealthy, and offering social support to those in need.

get out of here with your “both sides are the same” BS

You don’t have to pretend because you can just look at it and see the difference for real

100% truth, these blind liberals refuse to look at wealth inequality going up regardless of red team or blue team in office.

Yes. But things getting worse slower is better than things getting worse faster. Surely you can understand this logic. And if you are for accelerating it then why even bothering joining this conversation.

To be clear, I am not for “watching the world burn because F%#* it”.

The questions are what is effective resistance? Whose fault it is if that resistance isn’t happening? Who polices who about what acceptable mainstream strategies and narratives for resistance are?

People are answering these questions and you don’t like the answers.

Effective resistance comes from local elections, where you can influence the people you interact with daily to vote with you.

But things getting worse slower is better than things getting worse faster.

Only because you consent to it getting worse, instead of getting off your ass and doing anything about it. Voting for Greens or PSL is the bare minimum. Surely you can understand this logic.

I have gotten off my ass and voted in past elections and will in this election. If you can show me a convincing poll or statistics to show voting for either of those parties will prevent Trump, then sure. Until then I’m voting for what I value as the least worst to help maximize our chance of not having him be president.

Settling for things getting worse slowly is insane. Slowly getting worse is things like the total amount I paid for my house 30 years ago not being enough to cover a down payment on a house today.
