      They’re so drunk on their own hate they can’t see what their beloved scripture tells them explicitly to look out for.

        I don’t think they read their scriptures. The only parts they know are fed to them via the TV or maybe their pastor if they attend church. Which is highly unlikely.

      Part of me wants to get my hands on his bible that he’s hawking; compare it to an actual bible and see what bits got removed or added.

      At a minimum, I’m guessing then whole money changer in the temple thing, Revelations…. Most all of the parables.
