    Same. It’s like $5 for 6 months if you use a VPN at checkout. At that price point, why not.

      Is that trick “safe” for your Google account? I wouldn’t mind paying for yt premium, but it’s really not worth 7€ a month to me. Maximum half of that.

        If I did that I would just create another Google account specifically for YouTube so I don’t risk my main account. But then my main account has so many subscriptions and so much watch history that would also be a significant dislike for me.

          In that case, I’ll think I’ll just stay on the NewPipe/SmartTube/Revanced/adblock route for now

            To be fair, I use my main google account and haven’t had any issues in over two years now. But I also use SmartTubeNext regularly, so I understand.
