Basically the title. I decided that I don’t want to support !memes@lemmy.ml where every third post is a hateful communist “meme” that even communists can’t find funny and where admins tolerate memes about how it’s ok to shoot people with certain opinions and, similar things. There are some great memes however, and I’m not sure if it’s good to repost them here. What’s the stance of this community about that?
Yeah it’s totally fine, just use the cross-post feature?
Yes, I know how to do that :) I’m asking if it’s not somehow considered improper to just repost non-OC memes from other communities. Glad it’s not.
Lemmy.ml also has an active piracy xommunity. Im sure they wouldnt mind lol

I am upgrading myself from half to now 2/3rds likelihood ready to do that myself… I really really wanted to give them every chance but dude, wtf!?
The only thing holding me back at this point is that there are other good communities there, like https://lemmy.ml/c/dataisbeautiful (rare posts to that one though).
But I do think I’m close to unsubscribing at least to those memes - they just aren’t “fun”:-|.
