I think that whichever way you slice it, Amazon squandered the IP to an extent. In retrospect of such excessive spending on their more recent productions… They just didn’t spend enough on it. The final season benefits greatly from a higher budget, but that doesn’t magically save it from feeling rushed when it’s half the normal length. It’s a handwave apology for re- prematurely canceling the show
