For a moment I was perplexed by the mention of riots in Colombia, like why does this Israeli person have a take on a South American country, and who is Omar?
Doesn’t Hebrew write like Arabic, where you can just leave out certain vowels, which fucks with a lot of the translation software? In this case, I don’t know enough about Hebrew to tell if it distinguishes between U and O in a loanword like Columbia.
I assumed that’s what happened, yeah. It was just funny to be confused about what does a tweet in Hebrew have to do with Colombia, the country.
