If I said to my wife you should remove tiktok because of ACE she would stare blankly and say but I like the funny people. if I said you should remove tiktok because of spying, then she would think about what they might spy on and have some concern

I worked at a security firm that did check their code base.
One thing that was chilling was that it seemed that the source code was able to remotely execute arbitrary code.
It’s more than just stealing your tiktok data.
You’d think they would have led with that if that were the case.
